The UPV-EHU Summer Courses have closed the 41st edition as the most participative and international in its history, which has been distinguished for being a reflection of the diversification of the offer of courses and open activities, as well as in the different modalities of online, face-to-face and/or hybrid learning.
The vice-rector of the Gipuzkoa campus, Agustín Erkizia, and the academic director of the summer university, Itziar Alkorta, at a press conference, gave the figures for this year’s courses and highlighted the high quality programme that has developed 99 courses of the total 138 summer courses at its Miramar Palace headquarters, which have also been offered in Bilbao, Gasteiz and in other municipalities in the Basque Country, Navarre and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in which almost 15,000 people have taken part. 15,000 people have taken part in face-to-face, online or hybrid courses.
