The Miramar Palace brought together more than 300 guests with renowned chefs at a luxury dinner to celebrate the 25th anniversary of San Sebastian Gastronomika Basque Country. The congress kicked off in a multitudinous event at the Kursaal Donostia San Sebastian with many of the protagonists who have been important in the two and a half decades of the dean of the great gastronomy congresses, such as René Redzepi, Ferran Adrià, Alex Atala, Rasmus Munk, Leo Espinosa, Yoshihiro Narisawa or José Andrés.

Gastronomika closes with the best congress in its 25 years of existence, not only because of the record number of visitors or the quality of the programme and the chefs who have taken part, but above all because of the positivity that has reigned in the atmosphere during the three days of the congress. The figures for the congress support this feeling of a record edition, with 14,712 accredited participants of 48 nationalities, 1,468 congress participants and 413 accredited journalists.
