The International Conference “Equality, Science and Technology, for a change of paradigm”, organised by the Department of Equality, Justice and Social Policies through Emakunde, is being held today and tomorrow at the Miramar Palace. The Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu has inaugurated a conference that brings together international, national and local experts to address existing inequalities and gender gaps and the transformations needed to systemically incorporate equality between women and men in the field of science and technology.
Accompanied by the Regional Minister Nerea Melgosa, the Director of Emakunde, Miren Elgarresta, the Deputy General of Guipúzkoa, Eider Mendoza and the Mayor of San Sebastián, Eneko Goia, Iñigo Urkullu recalled the importance of the congress, “bearing in mind that this is an increasingly influential area in our lives”.
