MEETING OF THE HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR CHILD POVERTY

The objectives of the event are, on the one hand, to define the role of school canteen policy in a wider network of policies to fight poverty or social exclusion in childhood and to present evidence on the impact that this policy has on children and adolescents; and, on the other hand, to lay the foundations for a greater commitment of the Member States to effectively guarantee all children and adolescents, based on what is already established in the Recommendation of the Council of the European Union on the European Child Guarantee, the right to at least one healthy meal a day throughout the Union.
