The conference Thalamocortical Networks ( ThalNet ), Bringing Together Cellular and Cognitive Neuroscience, has taken place in person in Donostia – San Sebastian.
Understanding thalamocortical function, structure and thalamocortical networks represents a formidable neuroscientific challenge, where collaboration between cellular and cognitive neuroscientific approaches holds great promise. Recognising the potential synergy between these two disciplines, ThalNet aims to convene global experts from both fields and lay the groundwork for initiating, fostering and developing interactions between researchers in these fields to further advance and strengthen our understanding of thalamocortical and corticothalamic networks.
ThalNet aims to address the challenging field of thalamocortical networks, where collaboration between cellular and cognitive neuroscientific approaches offers extraordinary potential.
This conference was organised by the BCBL and brought together internationally renowned experts in both fields to explore synergies, share advances and establish new avenues of research.
